Singing kids? No thanks!
If a child can sing, dance and enjoys it, that's fine.
Let them join the choir, enter school pantomimes, sing at their birthday. But for heavens sake! Don't put a 4 year old boy in front of 200,000 people, in the middle of a very big, lonely stage, and ask them to perform!
Their youth should be devoted to testing the rules, pulling pranks on girls, and building tree forts, not spending the free years of their lives in doors practising and being put under pressure just because they're a novelty.
Once they grow up, nobody will be interested in them, because the novelty is gone and now they're just a singer, they'll wonder where all the attention went, realise that they threw their childhood away for nothing, and find other ways to get the public to notice them.
*Cough* Britney Spears.
If he gets to 15 and says "Mum? Dad? I want to be a singer." That's fine, but I hate when parents use their children like that.
[/rant] Sorry.

P.S Never call anyone Hunter.
