Vienna New Year Concert

This concert is every year. It is one of my biggest dreams, to be there once. But usualy tickets are sold one or two years in advance. It is a very special concert and I try to see it every year on TV on the first of January.
I will try to post some music from this concert (mostly Strauss) every year it is the same music, but diferent conductors.

I first heard the Radetzky when I was a small child and fell in love with it then. Thank you so much for posting it.

Like you, it is a dream of mine to attend the concert, but I don't think it is ever likely to happen so I, too, will have to make do with watching it on television.

Breeze. I enjoyed listening to all three songs... The Blue Danube is my favorite but I do like the Radetzky March very much...It has been several years since I have been to a concert to really enjoy it. Like you both I settle for watching it ion TV ...
