What Just Happened...?

Got kicked out of hospital on Friday, all looks well, but then again the last two times I said that it didn't turn out that way!

Lost another dress size just by staying in hospital for a week, a great diet clinic I think. They give out cereal for breakfast and bread and butter! Gimme toast any day but hey! Dinner would be something bland too, a cheesey pasta bake that lacked any cheese, and the pasta way way way way over cooked and mushy. Supper would be sandwich and soup.

If I'm honest, I starved myself for 4 days out of a week, unable to bring myself to finish off the plate of mushy blandy thing that they call food.

I've got the drain bag, back in hospital tomorrow for check up. My appointment was for wednesday, but Dr Amar and Laing both wanted to see me and they only work doing check ups on Tuesday. I wonder if they have the result of the biopsy yet?

Hope to be here more often now I'm out of the woods.

Thanks, appreciate that. No biopsy result yet, the drain tube has to stay on a few more days as I'm losing too much fluid for them to remove it At least I know the fluid still has an outlet when my knee and leg is all swollen up!

Just when I thought I was done with hospitals for awhile...now my sister has been admitted. She was complaining of shortness of breath and was taken by ambulance. After eight hours in the emergency ward she's now in a room, resting. It's been said that she may be there but a day or two; we'll see.

wednsday night I drove her to Ga to get up with her sister to go the rest of the way

That's bad if someone only responds to pain, hope they are making sure she is comfortable rather than prolonging her agony.

She's coming home today; just got a call from her. And fortunately, I'd taken today off from work for a court date that was canceled, so it works out.
