I had to go the courthouse to get a criminal background check on my son, I'm trying to get him in a program run by the national guard and they require it. So any way I go down there, go thru the security check, go to the clerks office, give them his info, then have to go to aqnother office to pay the $25 fee, cash only, no checks or cards, then go back to the first office to pick it up. I got it all is good but silly me I didn't think to check it, I go home, Matt looks it over and spots two charges on there that were dismissed. Mind you now, he's never been in a lick of trouble, none at all. So I call back down there, a little irritated but hey stuff happens, people make mistakes. I get passed around the office on the phone till I wind up with the woman who had gotten the report for me, he r response was, well since there wasn't a date of birth on the charges they put it with anyone of that name and basically that it was up to us to prove that it wasn't him that committed the offense!! That was when my my meter went from slightly irritated to full steam ahead pissed off, with a slight stop at incredulous!! I told her that wasn't right and all she could say was it was their policy. Oh yeah we're going along good now, I told her it was ludicrous to think that I could prove he didn't do something over 6 months ago and asked her repeatedly how would she feel if her report came up like that and she was told basically that it was her problem!! She never would answer that but finally she decided to do a little more digging and told me a few minutes later that the man in the charges was over 40 and since my son was only 17 it couldn't have been him. So tomorrow I have to go back down and get a new report. at least it got straightened out out, but that policy really needs to be changed.

Is that how it is going to be, having to prove our innocence? My son got told off at school for starting trouble, I had to text a few mothers to find out info to prove my son was the victim here! Seems to get worse if Mugley's situation happened! My god!

Myself and my two youngest children were sitting and watching Harry Potter with the curtains drawn. I made a mistake of giving them some fudge and they went ape throwing their soft toys about, I kept telling them to stop as I knew they would end up breaking something or the other.
