Copy of the Mona Lisa

A copy of The Mona Lisa at The Prado Museum in Madrid has recently been discovered to be contemporary with the original. The imitation is believed to have been painted by a student of Leonardo da Vinci in the same studio and perhaps at the same time.

The did a whole piece about it on the news here. Very interesting and she is so much prettier because she doesn't have that varnish over her.
