Ok - I posted this puzzle onto another forum and have had them all stumped since.  One guy even said his wife won't let him attempt #2 unless she's away on vacation because of all his swearing, lol.  

i have the solution to number one if anyone wants it.  There are 23 steps.   :D

A very good game as I remember,  I can see where you would want to  pm the answer so as not to ruin it for those still trying to figure it out.
