Hagfish Goo

Horrible creatures, but excellent play-things. Hagfish create a thick slime as a defense mechanism when threatened. Unfortunately they can find themselves suffocated by their own protection some times. By stimulating the muscles with electrodes you can force them into producing it. I assume it's dead. With the depths they live at they'd probably die when brought to the surface.
I found this both impressive and disgusting at the same time. Oh heck, I just found it impressive.

They don't have to let out much of the goo for it to work, by the look of it. Very impressive but very weird.

Sounds like my kinda girl. The only thing is that I'm not too keen on making my hands smell all fishy.
