Maybe you could also do some pre-recored sayings? something seasonal maybe? for example for christmas have it saying "Ho Ho Ho"
or for easter "happy easter" etc.

Give a close friend the controls to your clever little voice box and have them press the right button for the right situation.

For example if someone was watching and eating a sandwich your friend can press the button that makes you say ' That looks nice, save me a bit'
