That's a real tail. It's not so surprising to find a person with a tail. I think the normal thing for a parent in the western world would be to remove it upon birth. But I've always known that some people are born with tails, which are not removed. The genes of other primates are really similar to those of humans, so it's not surprising to find a child with a tail. I agree it's interesting to see one, but I don't think anyone should be shocked by it.

Too late.
I know we are genetically 99.5% the same as monkeys and I believe in evolution but it is still a shock to see a tail on a human. I wonder if it is prehensile ...

Its very real. They worship that child because they think he is the next Savior/Leader/King or something to that effect. I think it has more to do with their Savior though. It was supposedly written a long time ago in their religion. So yeah, that kid is extremely spoiled. The only thing is.........he has a tail!

Yes but many of these things can be dismissed as folklore or superstition. Here we are faced with evidence (assuming that Photopaint's airbrush has not had a day in the office).

I know it's not a "life changing" event but it is pretty scary just the same!!!
