Salvaging the TK Bremen

Postby Don't Blink » 25 Jan 12, 6:25 pm

Just over a month ago, the TK Bremen ran aground high on Kerminihy beach in Brittany, France, during a severe storm. The TK Bremen weighed over 2,000 tons, measured 109 meters (330 ft). The damage was deemed too severe to repair, so salvage and scrapping operations began. One month after the wreck, the cleanup process is nearly complete. [29 photos]

Incredible pictures and a fascinating 'diary' of the destruction of a ship. :thumb:
