personally, I think its wrong but I thought that this had all ready been decided by the courts in regards to email on work computers, its not private and yeah I can understand that part of it too.

Though e-mail privacy is the topic, the part that got my attention was that they were trying to stop the FDA from approving useless medical devices.

ok, I was focusing on the email privacy, missed that part, but even of they lose the case, maybe they will bring changes in approval procedures

I would hope so, but unfortunately the federal agencies seem to be more about protecting corporate interests, than regulating corporate abuses.

When the FDA authorizes drugs that are less effective than previous drugs, just so drug companies can take advantage of patents and monopolized the market, you have to shake your head and wonder.

The big pharmaco have a hell of a lot to answer for and are part of the reason you have the dysfunctional government that you do because they pay out billions to 'buy' senators and congressmen who make sure they get what they want.
