McDonalds - No More Pink Slime

McDonald's announced last week that, as of last August, is has stopped using ammonium hydroxide in the production of its hamburgers. MSNBC reports that the chemical, used in fertilizers, household cleaners and even homemade explosives, was also used to prepare McDonalds' hamburger meat.

That's good news, but I still won't be including McD's as part of my regular diet.

That's a relief... at some point, maybe McD's will also announce they are using real ground beef in their burgers.

After seeing images of the inside of a food processing plant, I've not eaten fast food in years.

FYI Many grocery stores have a 'hot food to go' section.
