Don't you think you're getting just a tad too friendly with the colonials old thing? Familiarity breeding contempt and all that. Got to be kept in their place........

Yours Sincerely.

Gad, Cerina, I see the natives are getting a tad restless.

Considering us 'colonials' were YOUR throwaways and cast-offs, I think we've accomplished quite a bit.  Having come to a desolate land of beavers, buffalos and natives, we've come a long way seeing as WE built the tallest, free standing stucture on the planet; not to mention we know the right side of the road to drive on!
As for the 'Crown', we all know that our so-called allegiance to her is nothing but a time honoured farce... which could easily be eradicated if we didn't have better things to do with our time.  Besides, were it not for us, who would be paying for her gold plated 'throne'?

Paying? It was built by Edward I in 1296 AD to house the Stone of Destiny and is made mostly of wood - so the payments, if there were any, had probably all been made centuries before the first New World settler ever wondered who the dark guys with the feathers were.

If not the throne then, what are we paying for?  And as you know, I WAS being sarcastic there (even though we are still paying her...if not for her golden throne (I meant the flushable kind).

I know Mich. And I'd like to add that it's refreshing to be on a forum and have a bit of almost serious banter with someone without any animosity. I've seen it happen and been part of it and it's not something I relish. (but the guy was a major A-hole, ask Dirtz!   )

Now then where were we? Ah yes, the flushable throne. That'll be where she goes for the Royal wee.................er......... :run:   sorry, sorry.

I agree with you Napper (eegads, I'm starting to get mushy in my old years... NOT).  Seriousness aside... tee hee... yes, it is refreshing to be able to share some bantering without offending the other person.  I have not had the misfortune of being the target of some jerkoff yet (and hope never to encounter the experience as I can well imagine how painful it can be, especially if you are cursed with a soft heart).  Afterall, we are on these forums for fun, information, empathy if needed, exchange of ideas, teasing and so forth... not to attack another person.
Mind you, I will be the first to admit that if someone steps out of line (see that bloody... pun intended... thread about the tortured circus elephants), they will get what is rightfully coming to them.
And no, I am not one to take offense to political, psychological or other types of banterings.  If anything, I see it as a kind of friendly teasing with a bit of education thrown in...
And now, back to the Royal throne...
With all the money she has, courtesy of so many of us,do you think there are any gold nuggets in her... um... poopalahs?

Oh no you didn't!

I used to work with severely handicapped adults, thus having to routinely insert suppositories(yum... delish)!  So, I've gone beyond taking a first 'poke' and a first look!

C.mon back, big buddy...
