They have always been prescription only here in the UK, although if you run out a pharmacist can give you one if you have proof that you use them.

but now they will cost $60 instead of $20

And while I don't have asthma I gather that if you need one you really need one

Yes. I've had asthmatics in my family and when an attack hits, you want instant relief, not to be gasping for air waiting for a pill to make it through the digestive system.

Thats it though, if you need one then you need one. So they can really charge anything they like for one, and if you can't buy them over the counter, there is no alternative.

Its such a sad world.

That is so dangerous because people can die if they can't afford their inhalers.
