not Bof related, just wanted to ask if this sounds fishy to someone else, I was reading an article on tv news site when another tab opened and told me I needed to update my FF that it was out of date. gave me a link to click on for it.. also a little popup type window opened with it, I clicked on the little window to close it and it did close, then I thought about clicking on the link to update but decided to just close the tab and go to FF homepage to see if I needed to update. I went there and it told me congrats I was using the latest FF version

On any Suspicious link, you can right-click and select copy location, then paste that link into Notepad.

Try it with the bit of fun image on the top of this page.

If the link is internal and doesn't go where it's supposed to go it's Malware. If it is a pop-up from the site you are visiting, then something External is trying to infect your computer and if you didn't click on it you're okay.
Life is just a "Bit of Fun" . . . Google it

Sorry if I'm stupid, what's notepad?
Please, don't tell me " Notepad++: a free source code editor which supports several programming languages running under the MS Windows environment." I don't understand. :D
So, tell me please where can I paste

Notepad is a program that comes with windows. Internet links are not active when pasted in notepad as it is basic text only.

If you are on Mac it will be something different
