YOU (as in everyone) are being segmented

The Algorithm or processes is called called a filter bubble https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filter_bubble

It is why a lot of people on the Internet think that 90% of the population agree with them. When in reality at most 10% of the population may agree with them.

If you would like to escape the filter bubble try a search engine called duck duck go https://duckduckgo.com/ :lmao: yes I know it is a strange name

If you are interested and would like to learn how filter bubbles work watch this

well we do that in real life too, we tend to group with people who have similar views and then think the world agrees with us and wonder why the other few can't see simple truths

Generally I'm pro business, at least on mindless regulation and other government crap, but to deny collective bargaining is to ignore economic history. It was the middle class that made this country an economic powerhouse, not wealthy business owners. http://www.amazon.com/The-American-Midd ... 0415831873 Business owners don't like collective bargaining, or anything else that gives workers power, and they love the H1B visa program. The fall of the collective bargaining and the rise of the foreign workers have chipped away at the middle class for four decades now.

As the article by CNC was reprinted from Heritage Foundation I'd also like to point out that they are also pro foreign worker, though they have not said much about it lately as not to arouse the ire of conservative voters. http://www.heritage.org/research/report ... he-economy

This part is my opinion and some will say tinfoil hat thinking. Middle class voters with conservative ideology (which is a good thing) are having that ideology turned against them, to get them to vote for candidates and programs that are not in their best interests. And yes the same thing is happening to liberals.

Soooo... What was in that free Windows 10 upgrade

Laughing at Microsof’s controversial data mining and privacy invasions within Windows 10? Well Windows 7 and Windows 8 users should laugh no longer as this most hated spying is now headed your way… http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkelly ... windows-8/

Software specialist site gHacks has discovered that Microsoft has pushed four new updates to both Windows 7 and Windows 8 which introduce new data collecting and user behavior tracking features http://news.softpedia.com/news/microsof ... 0302.shtml

If it’s free, you’re probably the product http://www.gfi.com/blog/if-its-free-you ... e-product/

Free email, free accounts, free storage, free software, free hosting, free this, free that, free the other. “There’s no such thing as a free lunch”. Companies plying their wares on the Internet are not charities. They are trying to make a profit. And there is nothing wrong with that. Everyone has to pay their bills, their employees’ salaries, their taxes, and more, and they should be entitled to make a reasonable profit along the way.

However, if they are giving you something for nothing, they are making money from somewhere else, and that is far too often by selling information about you. What they are giving you for free may be simply to entice you to use the service, so that they can sell something of value to others. Whether that’s personal information about you, or just more effective advertising, you are the product that is being sold, and all you get out of it is a free account.

Naw I think I am beginning to channel George Carlin. It seems like all political stuff is nothing but spin. I avoid places like Huffington Post politics for the same reason.

My personal belief is that if someone is willing to work hard, they are entitled to make decent a living. Whether you call that liberal or conservative depends on which way you spin it
