Spending that amount on an election is immoral and should be stopped! They should take a few lessons from our system (which isn't perfect) where the amount any one party or candidate can spend is tightly regulated.

yep, should also limit the amount that can be contributed and to me, you shouldn't be allowed to contribute to a campaign if you aren't legally allowed to vote for a candidate, I shouldn't be allowed to contribute to or influence a senatorial campaign in say Iowa and vice versa
