So many things to do and so little time. Whenever I want the time to go a biiiiiiit slower it goes very fast and other way around. :( Whenever I want to be left alone-the phone is ringing off the hook. :( And whenever I need a sun, outside is raining.

I know what you mean. Until the mess with my license gets straightened out I'm not traveling. Now I've got more free time than I know what to do with. But somehow I have to enjoy it because I know it won't last long.

I just downloaded Firefox 3 BETA. There's no bloody back button! 4 released versions and nobody has reported a lack of a damn back button. :cussing:
Not to mention the fact that most of my plug-ins don't work and the icons are ugly. I was expecting a massive overhaul but I can't see anything new, other than an irritating feature that drops down my bookmarks from the address bar when I type 'www.'.
I'll probably find that there are memory leaks and every account I own on the internet will have been hacked by a South African spammer group.

EDIT: And it's deleted FireFox 2. BETA versions of software shouldn't take liberties until they definately fucking work!
AAAARGH! :banghead:

You have discovered that the larger the pool of programmers, the more bloated mismatched and inefficient the code becomes.

Hehehe very true. :|
As long as they don't sink as low as backing up my internet files in hidden folders deep in the system - *cough* Microsoft *cough* - I won't be searching for a leaner browser just yet.
It's just quite a dissapointment. Firefox used to be so lean. In an effort to cut more fat off, they've gotten rid of the useful features and added new ones I don't need. I could easily use ALT+Left Arrow shortcut but I like the GUI. :(
That bookmarks feature is really going tick me off.

It's looking like "they" want me to stay and work in Mexico a little longer. Not sure what to do. I know that I would rather be home with Q.

What to do? What to do? :dontknow:

Sting, if it is about a month or two and if your job depends on these month, try to resist. :? If it is about more than that, it's a more difficult decision.
I'm sure you and Quercus will find a way to get over this moment.

That is a dilemma for you, Sting. Being there doesn't give you a chance to look for anything else, but, on the other hand, at least you are still in employment. Obviously, it is something you and Quercus have to think long and hard over before you make a decision. I know how hard it is to be separated from the person you love most, but sometimes it is a necessary evil.

I just hope things work out for you. You deserve it.

There's no doubt that I would rather have him here but we knew when he went down there that there was a distinct possibility "they" would want him to stay longer. I'm not the only one who thinks he valuable.

For now, I would imagine he'll be staying.

Yes, I'll probably stay a little longer, but I would like it better if Q could stay with me. I'm not use to sleeping alone. :(

The other night I was tossing and turning, because I can't sleep worth a darn without Sting, when I heard a loud POOF! I lay there wondering what the heck it could be but when my cat, Frodo, who's reluctant to move for a vacuum cleaner, jumped to his feet I knew that something was terribly wrong.

I rolled over and found that there was a bright orange glow coming through the front windows. I jumped out of bed and pushed back the blinds to find the neighbor's shed was on fire. I called 911 then I stepped outside and took this picture.

I guess it sucked more for the neighbors than for me but it still was pretty disturbing. We've had some horrible fires in our neighborhood over the years...at least no one died in this one.

I'm just hoping that noisey go-cart of theirs was inside......

Maybe you aren't the only one who got fed up with their noisy go-kart, Quercus. I agree with DB, that fire has some fuel in it, so you might be lucky. ;)

Yed indeed! It took the fire fighters quite a while to put it out.

Here is a picture of it the next day in the upper right hand corner.
check it out

I didn't think even that much would be left.
