Hiya jack, good to see you too.

Ohhhhhh how cool is that having gold and silver cobwebs, all dusters in the bin, husband is not going to thank you for that, but I am!!!

There's nothing remotely interesting or cool about me.
How cool and interesting was that?!

Purely accidental, as I told you the next morning.

My wonderful, perfect cat, Jimmy died. :(
He attacked my husband during the night without a reason, my husband left the bedroom to wash his first wound and Jimmy attcked again, they had a kind of fight (Jimmy won) my husband was full of blood, he was like coming from a war and finally he could close the furious Jimmy in a room.
I waked up after they finished the battle :banghead: and after disinfecting his wounds on hands and feet I cleaned the floor with the mop, I never saw so much blood in my life. :(
Now my husband has his both hands swollen and I can't describe his feet.
We kept Jimmy closed till next day and after going to emergency with my husband we went to the veterinary and they came with us at home and decided to make an injection to him to kill him. :( He was not rabid, but they said he can be dangerous if he attacked without a reason during the night.
We are both very affected, I cried yesterday all day long and we both miss him very much.
Now I'm worried about my husband's wounds because they really don't look good at all and he can't bend two fingers from his left hand.
You can't imagine how a nervous cat can fight. :?

Yes, it's strange. He became very aggressive in the last few month, but he never atacked during the night and in bed.
The doctor said that he could have attacked the carotid and we were lucky he didn't. :?

 I am so sorry to hear that, Breeze, and send love and healing to you and your husband.

Just a thought, if Jimmy had been getting more and more aggressive over a couple of months, it is possible that he may have had a brain tumour. As you can imagine, that can affect them badly and alter their behaviour.

I hope your husband is on antibiotics and that he gets well very soon.

Yes, a cat can do a lot of damage. They (the doctors) told us we spoiled him too much. But that's why cats are for. :dontknow:
They explained us that Jimmy used to think that he accepted us on his territory. But something went wrong somewhere in his brain.
That was the second time he attacked so bad, but first time during the night, in bed. First time we were both attacked and we both had hands swollen and took antibiotics. That was around one year ago. We couldn't do anything with our hands few days. Not writing, painting, drawing, working, anything, not even typing.
Jack, I think you never saw a nervous cat, an aggressive cat. It was a big cat 7 kg (around 15 lbs) not fat, but sinewy.
The fact is we don't want an other cat anymore. We will always love cats, but I prefer to be someone else cats. :?

Jimmy obviously had a lot of character and you are bound to miss him dreadfully.

If your husband develops any of the symptoms in this link, please get him to go to a doctor and tell them what happened. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002581/

Thank you very much, Cerina. Our doctor saw him, he gave him medication, but I still insist to go again because one of the wound. I don't like it. I will forward him your link, because if he will read it he maybe pay more attention. When I insist about his wound he tells me "it's nothing, I'll be fine" :?

a couple of nights ago I went to a website for the e-cigarettes, looked around at pricing, went to a few others, and decided not to order right now, damned if the SOBs didn't just called me right now wanting to know ifI was still thinking about ordering!! I told them no, but if I decided to order from them I would go back to the website and order then I hung up. It didn't occur to me until after I hung up to ask how they got my phone number   , kind of pisses me off that they called! :cussing: :cussing:
