Surreptitious software

Postby Jack Flash » 26 Jul 16, 11:24 am

It's that time again and I'm prompted to upgrade my Adobe flash player so I can see videos in my browser.

But stupid me didn't pay attention but fortunately my settings stopped McAfee software from installing.

Went back and took a look and sure enough if one is not paying attention surreptitious software that is bundled with the Adobe flash player will load :?

Given that McAfee antivirus does not work well with Eset the offer could be considered malware as the net result would be the same.
