As Berny said, we can set up a page along the lines of "BitofFun Forums" with a respective member of staff running the page. If the account access details are shared between the staff we could all run it between us. We could have a blog which simply announces updates and changes within the forum, or even a little section for D$$ awards and what-not. Or member creation of the week. Joke of the week. Etc etc. Just a separate page which integrates aspects of the forum without drawing attention from it. If members belong to any of these social networking sites they could also help spread the word by adding the board to their friends list, thus drawing more visitors and potentially more members.
As the world seems to be swinging more towards social networking it's a simple way to keep up with the crowd and draw them back into forums without changing the board itself.
