Although bald eagles eat mostly fish, they are known to be an opportunistic feeder and will feed on anything
from small mammals like rabbits to larger prey. Their talons are so powerful they even been known to carry
off young deer weighing up to 15 pounds.
Bald eagles have been clocked at speeds of up to 70 Kilometers per hour and are able to dive for fish
at 160 Kilometers per hour.
