Building coast-to-coast shopping malls that blight the American landscape, which according to comedian George Carlin is not one of our finer accomplishments. And to top that off we filled them with fat people.
Mile after mile of mall at the mall filled with fast food court selling supersize calories to overweight people wearing I'm with stupid T-shirts. And how do people feel about living with all these malls?
Apparently they are just fine with quick access to cheap product and fast food, that way they can satisfy their two most prominent addictions; buying stuff and eating things.
If Carlin were alive today he would probably take perverse joy in knowing that the shopping malls, having over built for the last 30 years, are in trouble.
