The film is made up of a mix of the monsoon and supercell plains chasing. His works are often in color, but he feels that black and white captures the true "texture" and "emotion" of storms. The moment he heard used in this video he knew that was the song. Recent films have a frantic pace to them and people occasionally say they'd love to see the footage in a much slower speed.

Mike Olbinski has been chasing and filming storms for years. For quite a few years now he has been wanting to do something different with time-lapse films. Storms are full of color. The blues, the greens, the warm oranges and reds at sunset. The colors are sometimes what make a simple storm into something extra special. But black and white speaks to the soul. There is something when you remove the color that lets you truly see the textures, movement and emotion of a storm. www.mikeolbinski.com
